"clouds" is a optimistic break-up song, & the only a'cappella track on "tunes for bears." i LOVE chris's cover, which is hilariously the only instrumental track on "covers for bears."

the lyrics remind of laying in the grass in my backyard, or in the green space in front of my dorm between classes, & watching the clouds with the sun warming my cheeks (the face ones). that was my happy place.

chris is my best friend from my hometown, my songwriting hero/mentor, & occasional touring (& cave exploring?) partner. he's also had a hand in recording, mixing, &/or mastering pretty much all the music i've ever released. sometimes i wonder how different my life would have been without his friendship & taste-defining music recommendations (shudder to think) & it's certainly true that this album wouldn't exist without him. check out chris's music here - christopherbell.bandcamp.com - & his music lessons here - takelessons.com/profile/christopher-b83 love ya, man
